Do you, like me associate Denby with mostly blue crockery and squat curvy mugs?
I’ve got to admit, being a crockery hoarder extraordinaire, I didn’t initially take much notice in an opportunity to win £500 to spend on Denby items as my crockery collection is becoming a bone of contention rather than bone china.
Well how wrong was I? Perusing their website this evening I am quite staggered that ME, the homeware and crockery obsessive that I am, had not realised the Denby homeware range was so vast. And yes they do still do the squat curvy mugs beloved by my mother (that always make me think of her when I see them in Debenhams) but they do dozens of other designs I’d never seen and an entire range of bakeware, saucepans, tablemats and glassware.
And it gets better – they have a sale on right now with many items half price or less and free delivery on ALL orders but you’d better hurry because a) it ends at midnight on 14th September and b) I might have bought the best things first.
Here’s a selection of my favourite Denby items I’m now coveting:
Malmo dinnerware individual items from £7.12 | Intro Red Large Tumblers £14 (currently reduced from £40) | Imperial Blue silicone trivet £5.50 | Red Retro Mechanical Scales £17.50 (currently reduced from £35 | Imperial Blue One Pint Mug £20 (currently reduced from £25) | 27cm Cast Iron Red Oval Casserole £41 (currently reduced from £82)
Round Springform Cake Tin £7 (currently reduced from £14) | Cherry Jet 16 Piece Cutlery Set £40 – sadly currently out of stock but they have blue ones too | Azure Ceramic Oval Dish Bundle £20 (currently reduced from £37) | Duck Egg Blue Silicone Muffin Mould £6 (currently reduced from £12) | Cherry Spoon Spatula £6.50 | Duck Egg Blue Ring Shaped Silicone Mould £5 (currently reduced from £10)
If your shopping list is bulging and you’d like to win a £500 e-voucher to splurge on Denby items then why not take part in The Great Denby Cake Off, a baking competition for bloggers themed around afternoon tea. For full details what they’re looking for and terms and conditions visit the Great Denby Cake Off page. It runs until 31st October so you have heaps of time to come up with something really amazing to wow the judges. There are also selections of Denby products for those awarded second and third place.
Right. I’m going to go curl up and persuade my husband on the sofa we have space for more kitchenware; “Darling... you know I really really like blue and white crockery, well I just found this gorgeous Scandi style design that would fit into our kitchen just right….” Wish me luck!
Post commissioned by Denby to spread the love about their bloggers’ baking competition. Words were not put into my mouth to enthuse about their products (none of which I currently own although my mother has a mean collection of the squat curvy mugs), it all came naturally and I am now frothing at the mouth to get into one of their Denby outlet stores.
