The Cake Stall by Australian Women’s Weekly VIDEO

September 28, 2011 by Sarah Trivuncic 7 Comments

Carousels of paperback Australian Women’s Weekly cookbooks are a familiar sight in bookshops, this baking title is a bumper hardback treat from the same people.

Watch my video review to see what I thought of it!

Published by ACP Publishing Pty Ltd, £16.99 hardback. With thanks to Octopus for the review copy.

I have lot’s of AWW books, and my local coffee shop used to use these books too. The downside is the amount of sugar used in so many of their recipes, do Australian’s really have such a sweet tooth?

i’ve looked at these books so many times, but never owned one. They sound ideal for something quick. As Maggie says though, they seem a little sweet, but then I don’t take sugar in anything .

Women’s weekly cookbooks are the best. There children’s birthday party cake book is legendary in Australia – I think Ted would love it!

I do love the Australian Womens weekly books, such a variety of titles. I’ve got a lovely one for mini cakes and bakes that I use often.

I have a sweet tooth and haven’t found the recipes too sugary (maybe the clue’s in what I’ve just typed!). Love AWW – never had a recipe that disappointed. They’re my go-to books
