Food Blogger Connect 2010: Three women standing in front of a red British telephone box in London.

Today’s post features as many of the folks at Food Blogger Connect that I have managed to get decent pictures of – namely that their faces are just about showing and they not in the middle of eating some of that yummy food at food blogger connect.

There are also some shots interspersed to give you a feel of what our wonderful venue, The Hempel was like.  As you may know I am a great lover of gorgeous hotels (like Malmaison Birmingham for instance) and was so excited when I knew I would be going to Anouska Hempel’s influential hotel.

With around 70 bloggers in attendance over the 3 days, it was impossible to learn absolutely everyone’s names. Fortunately, there is a list of names and blog links at the foot of this post if you would like to visit  them. The great thing about not having previously known 80% of people there is that there are lots of lovely new blogs to check out – and some of them are amazing.
So forgive me if I haven’t managed to put names/blogs to everyone in my pictures yet – I am hoping that people reading this will help me fill in the gaps over the next few days – and correct me if I’ve put the wrong name or blog to anyone.
Mowie and Beth making last minute preparations.

We had two venues, the bright and airy number 17 Craven Hill Gardens which features the private garden square and outdoor terrace where we enjoyed our food and also the basement gallery in the main hotel just across the road.

Fantastic Sarah, this is just what we all need to identify everyone – and you got some great shots! I think Chris and Beth are working on something similar to be featured on the FBC website…

How fantastic. Will have to have a better, longer look later. I am so jealous. I went to a beautiful press launch at The Hempel once – black caviar, black japanese fish, black candles. My friend stole a Hempel glass!!

Oh well, all the more reason to get together again soon! I loved seeing you, Sarah, and look forward even more to our skype chat sessions! Great heartwarming photos and a great event! xo

What fun – this was a real treat to read. I'm so impressed by all your hard work. I feel guilty that all I did was to concentrate on having a good time!
The lady with long hair is Leila by the way. She has the gluten-free website which is on your list.
