A quick heads up that Forever Nigella 6 has been kicked off by Kat at Housewife Confidential.

This month’s theme is Sea Fish and Eat It – you can blog any Nigella recipe featuring fish or seafood.

Pop on over to Kat”s post to see what she’s rustling up!

In the meantime, to get you in the mood, here are a few unblogged pictures from the market in St Martin de Re which is where I was a year ago this week.

Crustaceans St Martin de Re Market France

Oysters Ile de Re France

A big thank you also to Dom at Belleau Kitchen for hosting Forever Nigella #5, “Salad Days” – watch out for his round up this week.

PS Kat is also a finalist in The MADs mum and dad blog awards for “best photography” category, why not click through to vote for her and

*cough* you can cast your vote for “best family food blog” at the same time?

Great theme – I missed the salad challenge but will try to be part of this one. Mmmmm now which fish dish?

I absolutely love this theme! I adore seafood and have recently befriended the fishmongers in the town where I’m working, so I’ll definitely be taking part in this one.

Your pictures take me to France, every supermarket we go to we have to visit the lobster and crab. My favourite theme, but a challenge for me, as I usually only cook seafood in Brittany. Jude x

Thank you Sarah, I really apprecitate the MADs plug. I have to say the food category is the only one I’m torn over – very pleased I didn’t make it to the final there!

I’ve had some awesome comments already, looking forward to seeing which recipes people go for.

Hurray, my favourite thing! I have missed the last couple of challenges but might even rustle up two fishy dishies for this one.
