Throughout July it was my turn to host Credit Crunch Munch for Helen and Camilla and I’m pleased to report the humid weather didn’t keep you out of your kitchens.
We had 24 fantastic entries showcasing thrifty summer recipe ideas. From making the most of summer seasonal ingredients such as Swiss chard, peaches and raspberries to thrifty home made versions of yogurts and breads.
Whether it’s breakfast lunch or dinner you’re after, a snack or a feast, there’s something here for you. Click on the pictures for full size pictures and check out the links shown below.

Huge thanks to everyone who took part – August’s Credit Crunch Munch will be hosted by Elizabeth’s Kitchen Diary.
Don’t forget – also during August you can take part in Dead Easy Desserts to be hosted by Manjiri and Speedy Suppers which will be hosted by myself from tomorrow onwards.
Gorgeous photo montage round-up Sarah, thanks for hosting this month:-)
Thanks, it was a pleasure and I’m happy to do again 🙂
what a gorgeous set of entries. lovely collage here – nice idea to present this way Sarah. The ice pops and the Basa fillets (sans bacon for me) sound wonderful!
I think the basa will be just as good without the bacon. I must make some again.
The collage looks really good and somehow makes everything look even more enticing.
Thank you – I like to tweak how I do things!
What a great collection of recipes!
Some clever ideas there, and some great ideas for summer eating!
Thank you so much for hosting Sarah, nice to see lots of veg options here too.
Ooh – I like your photo collages! Some great ideas for quick and thrifty summer menus in there. Thanks for doing the roundup 🙂
Nice layout and recipes Sarah. Very impressed 🙂
Brilliant way to round everything up. I scrolled up and down a few times as ideas caught my eye. I particularly like the look of the beetroot raspberry bakewell bars.
