One More Slice by Leila Lindholm

September 20, 2011 by Sarah / Maison Cupcake

The latest in my series of video book reviews is One More Slice by Swedish food writer Leila Lindholm.

It follows one from her first book A Piece of Cake and doesn’t disappoint. I will be publishing a blondie recipe next which is heavily inspired by the one in One More Slice – one of Leila’s trade marks is giving you a basic recipe with several variations to try out. The book shows plain white chocolate blondies and also some ones with berries – I felt compelled to put the two together and you can see the results tomorrow.

I made the blondies from this book but they tasted more like cake squares to me. I probably did it wrong but they were still delicious! Her poppy seed crumble was really great too!
