They have been truly astonishing in their unerring love through the good and bad times and I could use this dish to thank them with a meal.
The difficult part would be deciding what to cook in it… 🙂

I would cook something for my lovely husband. He cooked everything for me whilst I was having cehmo for breast cancer – admittedly, I only tended to eat bananas and custard and porridge and so on, but nonetheless,he tried his best and I thank my angels every day that I’m still here and that I had him to get me through it. He spent months living on sausage sandwiches and microwave meals whilst I couldn’t face cooking, so I would cook him a really special steak and ale casserole with button mushrooms and Duchesse potatoes. He’s wonderful, deserves it and should know it!

Christmas time last year she was diagnosed with cancer in her face, she is now doing really well after having the cancer removed and we have good news in that the caner is just in the soft tissue of her face and throat and has not spread to any bone and although she will need further surgery in the future we are counting ourselves extremely lucky. I’d love to cook her a meal and let her know how much we love her.
